Wiley Creek Ripple, January 2012

Jan 5,2012
Say hello to Al Napoletano, who lived in the independent cottages but recently joined us in the lodge here at Wiley Creek Community! You’ll also notice Al’s beautiful framed drawings around the building.

Al was born April 23, 1920, in San Francisco, Calif., to Atillo and Catherine Napoletano. Atillo, from Naples, Italy, was a machinist and Catherine managed the home.

Although Al was a ‘city boy,’ he was fascinated with everything horse-related. He would try to crawl out of his buggy if a horse was anywhere nearby. During his early youth, milk and bread were still delivered from horse-drawn wagons.
