Samaritan Heart & Vascular Institute
welcomes Family Nurse Practitioner Brandy Sprick to its Cardiology Department.
Brandy earned a bachelor’s degree from Oregon Health & Science University and a master’s degree from Gonzaga University. She cared for patients as a cardiology nurse at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center and Samaritan Heart & Vascular Institute for 12 years before completing her advanced degree.
“I’ve always loved the role we serve in patient education,” Brandy said. “The desire to do more and extend this very valuable aspect of care in terms of education, prevention and health promotion is what motivated me to become a nurse practitioner.
“In her free time, Brandy enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, camping, spending time at the lake and cheering on the Beavers. She has lived in Corvallis since she was very young.
“I look forward to building collaborative relationships with other health care providers and positive partnerships with our patients,” said Brandy. “Contributing to the health, education and support of our community is what excites me most about my opportunity with Samaritan.”
Samaritan Heart & Vascular Institute provides a wide range of advanced cardiology, cardiovascular surgery, cardiothoracic surgery and electrophysiology services, with clinics in Albany, Corvallis, Lebanon, Lincoln City, Newport and Toledo, and also serves patients from Eugene, Salem and neighboring areas.
