Free skin cancer screenings in Sweet Home

May 9,2013
The Samaritan Cancer Program will provide a free skin cancer screening to the community on Saturday, June 1, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Sweet Home Family Medicine,  located at 679 Main Street in Sweet Home.

Registration is required, and appointments fill up quickly. Call 1-888-873-9547 to register.
Screenings will be provided by a board-certified dermatologist who will look for skin abnormalities, which may help find cancer in its early — and most treatable — stage.

The Samaritan Cancer Program is a comprehensive cancer treatment network serving patients across Benton, Lincoln and Linn counties. The innovative program has been praised by the Commission on Cancer for its quality measures, ongoing community outreach and numerous free screenings it offers to enhance the prevention and early detection of cancer.
