New family medicine physician comes to Lebanon

Oct 15,2013
Mid-Valley Medical Plaza in Lebanon welcomes Krystal Plotts, MD.

A family medicine physician, Plotts provides primary health care for patients of all ages.

Plotts earned a bachelor’s degree in human physiology, with a minor in chemistry, from University of Oregon and a medical degree from Oregon Health & Science University.

Hailing most recently from the Family Medicine Residency of Idaho, in Boise, Plotts and her husband both grew up in the mid-Willamette Valley.

“We have a lot of extended family in the area,” Plotts said. “I love Samaritan, not only because it is close to home, but because there are really wonderful people working here.”

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, 1-year-old son, cat and five chickens, as well as travelling, cooking and watching movies.

Her recent clinical research activities include studies on the care of chronic pain patients in the patient-centered medical home setting and the effect of interactive presentations on teen health awareness and risky behaviors.

Plotts is taking new patients. For more information, call Mid-Valley Medical Plaza at 541-451-7800.
