Samaritan Urology recently welcomed Jeffrey Palmgren, MD.

Dr. Palmgren is a board-certified urologist full diplomate of the American Board of Urology. He earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a medical degree from the University of South Alabama. He completed residency training at the University of Missouri Hospitals & Clinics, where he also served as chief resident. During his residency, Palmgren participated in research on prostate cancer, male infertility, stone disease, post-surgical bleeding and renal cancer.

Dr. Palmgren joins Samaritan from Bremerton, Wash., where he worked as the head of the urology department at the Naval hospital. He served a combined nine years of active and inactive duty as a medical officer in the U.S. Navy.
