Jan 29,2013
The Samaritan Cancer Program was recently awarded a three-year commendation from the Commission on Cancer (CoC). The CoC is the accrediting body for the program.

The Samaritan Cancer Program was praised for its excellent community outreach program and the multiple screenings it holds each year to enhance prevention and early detection, as well as the many quality improvement measures the program has in place.

“Our team works really hard to ensure we are providing state-of-the-art cancer care to our patients,” said Brad Betz, radiation oncology manager of Samaritan Regional Cancer Center. “This commendation confirms that we are helping our patients fight cancer in all the best ways.”

The Samaritan Cancer Program provides cancer care across Benton, Lincoln and Linn counties. For more information about the program, visit samhealth.org/Cancer.
