Jay Danto, DO, recently joined Samaritan Heartspring Wellness Center
in Corvallis. He is accepting new patients for osteopathic manipulative treatments.
Dr. Danto earned a bachelor’s degree and a medical degree from Michigan State University. He completed residency training at St. John-Macomb Oakland Hospital, also in Michigan. He is board certified in family practice and osteopathic manipulative medicine. He completed further training and certification in cranial osteopathy and also provides acupuncture services.
In addition to his practice at Heartspring Wellness Center, Dr. Danto serves as the vice chair and associate professor with the Department of Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine/Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine at the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific Northwest in Lebanon. He has authored numerous books and articles, including two books for patients, “Healing & Anti-Aging for Your Own Neck & Back Pain” and “Your Guided Journey to a Happier Life.”
Dr. Danto uses a holistic approach to patient care, geared towards promoting and utilizing the inherent healing potential from within. He treats patients of all ages with osteopathic manipulation medicine and other integrative care approaches.
