Each year, the Lebanon Community Hospital Foundation board of trustees rewards the generosity of hospital employees by giving grants to hospital departments, clinics and Samaritan Wiley Creek Community for necessary equipment.
During the Samaritan Employee Caring Campaign in 2009, employees gave nearly $90,000. The foundation board ordinarily matches the amount raised, but due to the economic conditions this year, the board approved more than $177,000 in grants – nearly doubling the amount raised.
