If you have a chronic health condition, learn how to take better control of your health. Sign up today for a free, six-week Living Well With Chronic Conditions workshop to learn how to manage your conditions and enjoy your life.

Developed at Stanford University, Living Well With Chronic Conditions is offered at hundreds of locations throughout the United States. It helps participants with ongoing health conditions such as arthritis, diabetes, high blood pressure, anxiety, heart disease, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s and depression to:

·         Find better ways of dealing with pain and fatigue
·         Discover easy exercises to help improve or maintain strength and energy
·         Learn the appropriate use of medications
·         Improve nutrition
·         Talk effectively with family, friends and health professionals
·         Understand new treatment choices
·         Feel better about life

Taught by specially trained volunteer leaders, some who have health conditions themselves, the program covers a new topic each week and provides opportunities for interaction and group problem solving.

Each participant will also receive the book “Living a Healthy Life with a Chronic Condition.”

Living Well workshops will be offered this spring in Philomath and Monroe:
