Samaritan Heart & Vascular Institute recently welcomed
Jurandir DeMenezes, PA-C, as a cardiology care provider.
Jurandir earned a master’s degree in physician assistant studies from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. While in D.C., he completed clinical work in cardiothoracic surgery at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center. He holds a bachelor’s degree in medical microbiology and immunology from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
Prior to joining Samaritan Heart & Vascular Institute, Jurandir worked as a cardiothoracic surgical physician assistant in Richland, Wash., Seattle, Wash., and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Before becoming a physician assistant, Jurandir worked as a photographer, editor, soundman and technical director for a variety of television news stations and the United States Senate.
