Samaritan Family Medicine Resident Clinic welcomes new physicians

Samaritan Family Medicine Resident Clinic recently welcomed four new resident physicians, Drs. Matthew Bauer, Stephen Hallas, Katherine Merkle and Corbett Richards. All are accepting new patients at (541) 768-5502.

Dr. Bauer received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin in Madison and a medical degree from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Dr. Hallas earned a bachelor’s degree in biological chemistry from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine, and a medical degree from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, Calif.

Dr. Merkle received a bachelor’s degree in biology from Regis University in Denver, Colo., and a medical degree from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, Calif.

Dr. Richards received a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and cell biology from University of California, San Diego and a medical degree from Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Samaritan Family Medicine Resident Clinic is home to family medicine residents who work under the supervision of an attending physician and offers care for all members of the family including newborns, children, adults and older adults.
