Put life back in your life with free chronic conditions workshop

Learn to manage your chronic health condition and live a full life at the free Living Well With Chronic Conditions class.

This six-week class will be held Mondays, Sept. 10 through Oct. 15, from 2 to 4:30 p.m. Advance registration is required. Class size is limited to 20 participants. The class meets at Samaritan Internal Medicine in the new Cascade View Medical Office Building at 3521 NW Samaritan Dr., Suite 201, on the Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center campus in Corvallis.

Hosted by Samaritan Health Services, Living Well With Chronic Conditions is a self-management program designed to introduce skills needed for day-to-day management of chronic conditions. This course is designed to help individuals develop the tools necessary for living a healthy life while managing the symptoms associated with chronic conditions. 

The workshop focuses on self-care and introduces coping strategies for dealing with frustration, fatigue, depression and pain. Participants receive a copy of the companion book Living a Healthy Life with Chronic Conditions.
