Samaritan Health Services recently opened a rheumatology clinic in Corvallis, Samaritan Rheumatology. It is staffed by Michelle Ryan, MD, who is accepting new patients. Samaritan Rheumatology specializes in diagnosing and treating arthritis, autoimmune diseases, and inflammatory diseases in the joints, muscles and soft tissues.

Ryan earned a bachelor’s degree in ecology and evolutionary biology at Princeton University in New Jersey, and a medical degree at the University of California, Davis. She completed an internship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Mass., and residency training at the University of San Francisco Medical Center in California. She completed fellowship training in rheumatology at New York University. She is board eligible in rheumatology.
