Samaritan Health Services: strengthening, serving its communities
The hospitals, physicians and employees of Samaritan Health Services are rooted in the communities they serve. The hospitals are part of the historical fabric of Albany, Corvallis, Lebanon, Lincoln City and Newport and the surrounding communities. The physicians and employees are also visible in the community -- as active volunteers, non-profit board members, church and community leaders.
It’s only natural, then, that Samaritan would see the importance of extending its health care mission beyond the walls of the hospitals and physician clinics and into the community at large. Whether it’s helping to support a health-related non-profit organization, providing a scholarship to a student pursuing a health care career, or offering free health screenings, Samaritan values its involvement in community health.
