Other Training Programs

Our health training programs include:

  • Nurse re-entry program:
    • We provide an opportunity for re-entry nurses to meet the practice requirement stated by the Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) for re-licensure. The nurse must attend an OSBN approved re-entry program and successfully complete the required didactic portion prior to the clinical experience.
    • A current affiliation agreement between Samaritan and the re-entry program is needed for the nurse to qualify for placement.
    • To be considered for the required clinical experience at Samaritan, please download the application packet.
  • Residency in Pharmacy Practice
    • The Residency in Pharmacy Practice is designed to develop the skills required to solve medication-related problems. The resident will develop effective communication skills, learn how to provide and organize clinical pharmacy services, as well as plan for and implement new services.
  • Physician residency and fellowship programs
    • Our physician residency and fellowship programs encompass the entire health care spectrum for individuals and families. Residents and fellows have the advantage of learning in a vibrant academic setting within this large health care delivery system.
