Available to local high school graduating seniors, college students, and Albany-area Samaritan Health Services employees who are beginning or continuing their educations in a health care-related field.

Samaritan Lebanon Conmmunity Hospital
- Certified Nurse Assistant Program Scholarship
Available to CNA students who plan to use their training to benefit residents within the Pacific Communities Health District.

The auxiliary of Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital in Newport awards four different scholarships/grants each year:
- Two $750 scholarships to Samaritan Pacific Health Services employees, who are returning to school to attend classes in a health care field. Applications received Jan. 1 through May 31 will be considered together, and one scholarship will be awarded by June 30. Applications received June 1 through Nov. 30 will be considered together, and one scholarship will be awarded by Dec. 31.

- One $1,000 scholarship to men and women graduating from high school, who plan to pursue a career in a medically related field in a hospital setting. The scholarship is payable after the first completed year of studies in the medically related field.

- Five grants of up to $200 to Samaritan Pacific Health Services employees, who are furthering their career in a medically related field.

- One $1,000 scholarship to the nursing program at Oregon Coast Community College (OCCC). The scholarship is payable after the first completed year of studies in a medically related field. This scholarship is administered through OCCC; for more information, contact OCCC at (541) 574-7131.
