Opportunities for COMP Northwest Track students

 

Through an agreement with Western University, we offer rotations to students who are part of the university’s Northwest Track Program. This program allows students from the states of Oregon, Washington, Alaska, Idaho, Montana and Wyoming to spend their third and fourth years closer to home after completing two previous years in Pomona, Calif.

Since 2007, SHS has received a cohort of third-year medical students who complete their core rotations with local physicians. The fourth-year students within this program are required to complete one core rotation with SHS, but may also complete elective rotations within our system.

The online orientation consists of reviewing SHS policies and trainings, signing a confidentiality statement and providing immunization records. These records need approval from the Office of Medical Education.

At least 30 days before your arrival, we ask that you complete the following:
