The legacy of Mario Pastega
Each year, the Mario and Alma Pastega Family Foundation hosts a golf tournament to assist in raising funds to help continue to provide family members and patients a home away from home at the Mario Pastega House on the Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center campus.
Founded by local business leader and philanthropist Mario Pastega, who passed away in 2012, the Mario Pastega House has provided a home away from home for patients and family members at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center for almost a decade. The house offers low-cost, comfortable lodging to patients and family traveling to Good Sam from a distance.
