A training program designed to help nurses enrich the health and well-being of women and newborns. We are excited to offer this program based on the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) guidelines. Program modules are designed to provide nurses with theoretical knowledge needed to implement family-centered care for women, their infants and family members during the antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum periods.
The program includes a series of 10 comprehensive modules targeted toward new graduate nurses. The didactic presentations are followed by opportunities to practice skills in the simulation lab and clinical setting.
