Education and lifelong learning have long been a part of our mission. Our experienced and thoughtful physicians have established a tradition of teaching medical students through an association with Western University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific, as well as other medical schools. The commitment to teaching has enabled the expansion of our medical education program to include osteopathic residency programs in multiple specialty areas.
Our first osteopathic residency programs opened in 2009. Fully accredited by the AOA, our programs provide first-class educational and personal enrichment. Our residents come from diverse institutions and have a variety of long-term goals, but share a commitment to remaining in the Pacific Northwest. Our goal is to have residents who are dedicated to excellent patient care, enjoy their professional and personal relationships with their peers, and are successfully prepared for their future careers. Our residency programs offer the opportunity to be part of our one-of-a-kind medical community, where strong values are building a solid foundation for excellence.
Our training programs embody a commitment to the highest quality patient care and education, an atmosphere of scientific inquiry, and high personal and professional standards — all accomplished within an open environment between students, residents and faculty. We are looking for residents who not only demonstrate academic excellence and exceptional interpersonal skills, but who also recognize the unique opportunities our program offers. We are seeking people who want to be medical pioneers — part of a unique partnership in medical education that will launch the careers of exceptional physicians.
Our residents will enjoy the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest and the cultural opportunities of a university town, as our programs are organized to balance an excellent learning environment with a sustainable lifestyle.
