Fifth Annual Act Alive

The fifth annual Act Alive promises to be the largest Act Alive yet, as it will be held on July 4 with Lebanon's Star-Spangled Celebration at Cheadle Lake!
Dr. Tim Hindmarsh will spend Independence Day walking, cycling, running and skydiving - all to raise awareness of the growing epidemic of type 2 diabetes.
And he wants YOU to join him.
Type 2 diabetes is one of the most serious diseases residents of east Linn County face, and lack of physical exercise is at its root. Exercise is one of the best ways to treat diabetes, and Hindmarsh's goal with Act Alive is to encourage everyone to take charge of their health.
Dr. Hindmarsh is inviting everyone to join him in the following sports activities:
- A trail walk along Cheadle Lake
- A 20-mile bike ride through the countryside of east Linn County
- A competitive 5-kilometer run along the Cheadle Lake trail system
- Kids' activities throughout the afternoon with the Boys & Girls Club of Lebanon
