Special Events

Festival of Trees

The Pacific Communities Health District Foundation hosts its annual “Festival of Trees” each holiday season. This bountiful schedule of theme days and special events at Newport’s Best Western Agate Beach Inn benefits the Health Education Center project at Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital.

Spring Fashion Show

Presented by the PCHD Foundation and the Breast and Cervical Cancer Program for Lincoln County, this fashion show features local boutiques and modeling talent. Proceeds benefit the Women's Cancer Fund which provides financial assistance to women with breast cancer.

Light Up A Life & Memorial Funds

Illuminate a symbolic light on the beautiful holiday tree and dedicate it in honor of someone you admire or in memory of someone you miss. Your contribution is a meaningful gift that will celebrate the life of loved ones during the holiday season and help us meet the needs of our Hospice patients, their families and community education all year long.

Memorial funds are established at any time during the year, to honor the wishes of those remembering loved ones. Our Medicare Certified Hospice program provides care which makes it possible for the dying to remain at home, cared for by family and friends, living their lives as fully as possible until death.

Pacesetters Luncheon

This annual spring event is our opportunity to honor our major donors who are members of the Pacesetters Club. We feature a guest speaker who provides the latest health information, recently added services or hospital areas that have been improved or expanded. The Foundation office has more information about this special event, 574-1810.
