Donor RecognitionThe Philosophy of Donor RecognitionThe North Lincoln Hospital Foundation does not exist without donors. In 2007, more than 800 individuals and organizations contributed cash or in-kind goods and services. We believe that donors who support the mission of the North Lincoln Hospital Foundation cannot be thanked too many times. We have created Donor Recognition Walls in Samaritan North Lincoln hospital to display the names of our faithful supporters. We also have other ways to make our donors feel special. VIP hospital tours, opportunities to meet with doctors and hospital administrators, and invitations to special events just to name a few. Another positive aspect of donor recognition is its influence on others. Often, some who are not giving are influenced by the fact that others they know and respect are supporting the hospital. It is also a way to encourage giving at a higher level if they are able to do so. Thank you for helping us to increase and strengthen our donor base. The Sea Star StoryIn 2004, the North Lincoln Hospital Foundation developed the Sea Star Society as a way to provide special donor recognition honoring those who have donated more than $1,000 annually to the Foundation. Using the Sea Star as a logo for the program, the theme for the Sea Star Society was based on the Sea Star story and showing how each one of us can Make a Difference. How Can You Help?There are many ways you can help the Foundation continue its mission and benefiting Samaritan North Lincoln Hospital and your community. Financial contributions are gratefully accepted and donors may specify their donations be used for a specific project.
Donors may also choose to make a donation to the Foundation’s unrestricted fund, allowing funds to be used where the “need is the greatest.” These donations enable the Foundation to use funds as needs arise. The Foundation also accepts gifts of property and can be designated as a beneficiary in your will.
