Mario Pastega House
The Mario Pastega House, on the campus of Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis, is a comfortable “home away from home” for out-of-area patients and families traveling to Corvallis for specialized medical care.
Everything about the Mario Pastega House says “welcome.” Its location is convenient and beautiful, situated on two scenic acres at the base of a rolling hill right on the hospital campus. Inside the one-story, 6,500-square-foot home are 12 guest suites carefully designed and professionally decorated to offer comfort and convenience for patients and their families. Two units are ADA accessible, and feature wheelchair-accessible showers.
Additional amenities include a chapel, outdoor patio and garden areas, children’s playroom, central kitchen and dining area, living/recreation areas and on-site laundry facilities. Outside are three RV parking spaces with full hookups. To offer further hospitality, the house is staffed seven days a week. The suggested nightly fee for a room or RV hookup is $20, but no one is turned away for lack of funds.
All that’s required for a patient to use the facility is a home address 25 miles or more away, a photo ID and a referral from a medical provider or hospital staff member.
