Give new dads a crash course in baby care

Dads-to-be can now receive fast-track training on how to care for their new little one. At Boot Camp for New Dads, expectant “rookie” fathers learn from “veterans” who bring their young babies to class. This men-only class – no women over 2 feet tall allowed – fosters camaraderie and solidarity as rookie dads learn how to care for crying babies, crying mommies, how to drop a diaper into a trash can at 40 feet and much more!

Time: Saturday, Nov. 15, 9 a.m. to noon
Location: Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center
Cost: $20
Call (541) 768-4752 to register.

New mothers' forum

And for new moms, we know you have lots of questions, and we know that talking with others new moms will provide a tremendous network of support for you. That’s why we’ve added the new mothers’ message board to our website.

Our message board gives you the chance to talk with other moms who are experiencing the joys (and worries) of parenting — just like you. Chat about newborn care. Activities for baby and for you. Make a play date. Trade stories and tips. Discuss new mom worries. And more.
