Personal Biography:

Alan was born in Oregon and has lived in Albany most of his life. When time allows, Alan enjoys bonding with his family and exploring the outdoors. He is also an avid aviator and enjoys traveling and viewing the state from above.

Alan works in the inpatient setting, and enjoys the challenge and daily variety that this setting provides. He also specializes in the ergonomic science of physical capacity evaluation, which includes testing patients' physical ability to perform work-related tasks. He also works closely with patients in need of completing testing on the Elemental Driving Simulator.

    Occupational therapy is an overall plan to help you achieve a maximum level of independent living. It helps you perform your day-to-day activities more comfortably and efficiently. Treatment may focus on adaptive strategies or on the use of equipment to help you maintain optimal safety and independence.
