Personal Biography:

Dr. Taylor is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in total hip and knee joint replacement surgery, arthroscopic knee surgery, carpal tunnel surgery and surgical and non-surgical treatment of fractures. He also provides a wide range of general orthopedic services.

From an early age, Dr. Taylor was exposed to the values, responsibilities and ethics inherent in health care from his grandfather, who was a physician, and his mother, who was a nurse. After more than 20 years in private practice, Dr. Taylor is excited to be working for a health care system that allows him to focus on patient care, while having access to an established network where he can refer patients for more specialized treatment when necessary.

Dr. Taylor earned a bachelor’s degree and doctoral degree from the University of Chicago. He completed medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, where he did his residency and internship training. Dr. Taylor is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He has worked in the orthopedics field since 1986, most recently for Centura Health Physicians Group in Pueblo, Colorado.

Dr. Taylor is married, and has three children and one grandchild. In his free time, he enjoys travel, running, hiking and spending as much time outdoors as possible.
