A Washington native, Dr. Dorgan earned a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Washington State University in Pullman and a master’s degree in public health from a joint program of University of Arizona and Arizona State University. He received a medical degree from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, Calif., and completed an internal medicine residency at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Ill.
Dr. Dorgan works closely with his patients as an advocate, helping them to take ownership of their overall well-being and meet their health care goals. He has a special interest in heart failure prevention, heart disease among women, and cardiovascular risk reduction.
Away from the office, Dr. Dorgan enjoys watching PAC-12 football, playing golf and keeping active. He and his wife Tracy, an operating room nurse at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center
, enjoy taking walks in their neighborhood, tackling yard and home improvement projects, and exploring Oregon.
