Personal Biography:

Chris is a certified registered nurse first assistant. She assists Dr. Pennington with all surgical cases and focuses on pre- and post-operative patient education and care in the office setting. Chris completed an associate nursing degree at Linn-Benton Community College, a bachelor’s degree at the University of Phoenix, and post-graduate registered nurse first assistant training through University of California, Los Angeles.


Chris has been a registered nurse for more than 20 years, 17 of those have been in the operating room setting. For more than five years she has been working with Dr. Pennington, dividing her time between the office and the operating room. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three boys, camping, snowboarding and scrapbooking.
