Personal Biography:

Dr. Carey received a bachelor’s degree in biology from California State University in Northridge and a medical degree from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, Calif.

Prior to attending medical school, he worked as an emergency medical technician (EMT) and as an emergency room technician.

In his free time, Dr. Carey enjoys traveling, camping, fishing, playing baseball and working on cars.

Dr. Carey is a second-year internal medicine resident.

    Medical residency provides in-depth training within a specific branch of medicine such as family practice, internal medicine, psychiatry, orthopedic surgery, general surgery or other specialties and builds upon the broad range of medical knowledge and basic clinical skills learned in medical school, enabling the physician to get more hands-on medical practice experience.
