Personal Biography:
Rummel received a master’s degree in nursing at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn., specializing as a family nurse practitioner. She is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is experienced in treating the entire family, from primary care to the acute care setting.
Rummel's well-rounded approach to medicine stems from her previous work experience in under-served and low-income communities, primary care medicine clinics and inpatient adult care. Rummel integrates a holistic approach to her practice, based on current evidence-based medicine, emphasizing the importance of routine physical exams and health screenings. She believes in disease prevention through lifestyle choices, as well as aiding the body in its unique healing process through the use of natural and pharmacological treatments.
