D. Randall Wolfe, MD, FACS

Personal Biography:

Dr. Wolfe resides in Corvallis and has two grown children. He enjoys skiing, swimming and other outdoor activities as well as traveling, photography and playing the guitar.


Medical Education and Training:

Bachelor's degree: Dartmouth College
Medical degree: Stanford University School of Medicine
Internship: University of California in San Francisco, general surgery
Residency: University of California in San Francisco, ophthalmology
Board certification: Ophthomologist

Following residency training, Dr. Wolfe completed advanced fellowships in Neuro-ophthalmology and retina at University of California in San Francisco and in London, England at the Moorfield's Eye Hospital and the National Hospital for Nervous Diseases, Queen Square. While a fellow at UCSF he was awarded a Heed fellowship. He has been elected a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Wolfe also holds advanced degrees in physicis from Harvard University and electrical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Dr. Wolfe specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of all diseases related to the eye with a special interest in Neuro-ophthalmology and diseases of the Retina.



  • Ophthalmology/optometry

    Ophthalmologists and Optometrists are primary eye care providers who examine the internal and external structure of the eye. Exams vary depending upon the eye health and visual needs. These providers are highly trained experts in glaucoma, cataracts, pediatric ophthalmology, ocular plastics, diabetic changes, age-related macular degeneration and low vision assessments and aides.
