Ian Donald, MD

Personal Biography:

Born in Scotland and raised in Canada, Dr. Donald earned a medical degree from the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, Canada. He completed an internship and residency training at Montreal General Hospital, where he also served as the chief obstetrics and gynecology resident.

After completing a clinical research fellowship in high-risk obstetrics at the University of Southern California, he cared for patients on Los Angeles’ west side for 19 years, and taught medical students at University of California, Los Angeles, before moving his family to Idaho. 

Before joining Samaritan, Dr. Donald and his wife have lived and worked in New Zealand, Hawaii, Northern California and Seaside, Oregon.
