Josh Funk, DPT

Born and raised in the “Show Me State” of Missouri, Josh is new to Oregon.  Josh worked in Charleston, S.C., in a rehabilitation hospital before he made the cross-country journey to Corvallis to work at the Physical Therapy Department at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center. 

When away from work, Josh enjoys spending time with his wife, hiking, camping, biking, running and walking their dogs Lacy and Carlos.  Josh is a big sports fan and loves cheering for the St. Louis Cardinals and Green Bay Packers. Additionally,  strumming the guitar and picking the banjo, are among Josh’s favorite pass times.

Josh was introduced to physical therapy when working in the athletic training department for the Mizzou football team. From there, he learned of the many different avenues of physical therapy through his work in hospitals while attending undergraduate and graduate school.  The ability to help people get back to their lives and loves is what drew Josh to physical therapy. He is especially interested in working with people who have sustained strokes, have been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, and those weekend warriors and high-level athletes who have sustained unfortunate injuries.
