Personal Biography:
Jurandir DeMenezes earned a master’s degree in physician assistant studies from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. While in D.C., he completed clinical work in cardiothoracic surgery at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center. He holds a bachelor’s degree in medical microbiology and immunology from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
Prior to joining Samaritan, Jurandir worked as a cardiothoracic surgical physician assistant in Washington state, and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Before becoming a physician assistant, Jurandir worked as a photographer, editor, soundman and technical director for a variety of television news stations and the United States Senate.
