  • Family Medicine
Family medicine providers provide comprehensive health care for all members of the family. They may be physicians, nurse practitioners or physician assistants. They serve as a primary care provider for their patients.
  • Resident Physician
Resident physicians, known as residents, have earned medical degrees and practice medicine under the supervision of fully licensed physicians, usually in a hospital or clinic.

Medical residency provides in-depth training within a specific branch of medicine such as family practice, internal medicine, psychiatry, orthopedic surgery, general surgery or other specialties and builds upon the broad range of medical knowledge and basic clinical skills learned in medical school, enabling the physician to get more hands-on medical practice experience.
