Personal Biography:
Katherine has extensive nursing experience that spans working as a nurse in both a hospital and physician clinic setting, and includes intensive care, emergency room and geriatric nursing, and serving as a primary care provider and primary gynecological and family planning provider. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau.
Prior to joining Samaritan, Katherine worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner with the Physician’s Medical Group of Long Beach & Ontario in Ontario, Calif. She is still a part-time teaching assistant for the Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program at California State University, Dominguez Hills.
