Personal Biography:

Dr. Bauer received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin and a medical degree from Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine.
 
Prior to joining Samaritan, Dr. Bauer worked as a nutritionist, personal trainer and wellness coach. With a strong interest in preventive care and weight management, Dr. Bauer is excited to help patients optimize their health and achieve their wellness goals. He has a special interest in osteopathic manipulative medicine and sports medicine.
 
In his free time, Dr. Bauer enjoys writing music, playing guitar and jazz saxophone, lifting weights, hiking, mountain biking and playing soccer and golf. He is excited to live in the Pacific Northwest and would like to continue practicing in the Willamette Valley after finishing residency.
 
Dr. Bauer is a first-year family medicine resident.
