Matthew Lindberg, MD, FACC, FASNC

Personal Biography:

Dr. Lindberg joined Samaritan Heart & Vascular Institute in 2007 from the University of California at Davis, where he trained as a fellow in cardiology. His previous education includes a medical degree from the University of Washington and an internal medicine residency at Oregon Health & Science University. Dr. Lindberg also earned bachelor’s degrees in history and biology from Stanford University.

Dr. Lindberg is board certified in internal medicine, cardiology, nuclear cardiology, and cardiovascular computed tomography. Dr. Lindberg is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the American Society of Nuclear Cardiologists.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Lindberg has interests in outdoor activities and wine production. He is married with a son, daughter, cat and pug dog.

  • Cardiology

    Internal medicine providers focus on adult medicine and have had special training to diagnose and treat adult diseases. They may be physicians, nurse practitioners or physician assistants. They serve as a primary care provider for their patients.
