Personal Biography:

Dr. Morishita has traveled around the world to provide health care, including Ghana, China, Bangladesh, Tanzania, India, Nepal, Pakistan, El Salvador and Vietnam. She also served on the advisory council for Doctors for Global Health for two years. Dr. Morishita speaks Japanese and Spanish. Her medical interests include advanced laparoscopy and high-risk obstetrics. 

Dr. Morishita attended the Harvard School of Public Health where she obtained a certificate in health and human rights. She also holds a master's degree in public health from Johns Hopkins.
