Patrick Boyle, MD

Personal Biography:

Prior to joining Samaritan, Dr. Boyle worked for 22 years as a professor of medicine at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, where he helped conduct landmark clinical trials in diabetes for the National Institutes of Health. He is a past principle investigator for National Institutes of Health funded Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP) and the Diabetes Control and Complications Trial (DCCT).

Dr. Boyle is nationally and internationally sought for his knowledge in diabetes management. He teaches diabetes management around the world and is enthusiastic to offer his expertise to patients on the Oregon coast. He enjoys the full spectrum of adult endocrinology, but has extensive experience with patients with difficult to control diabetes.
