Personal Biography:

Dr. Simpson is the medical director of the Corvallis Heartspring Wellness Center. She received a bachelor's degree in biology from Harvard University and attended medical school at the University of California, San Francisco. She completed residency training in internal medicine at the University of California, San Diego. A clinical training course in mind-body medicine has deepened her interest in integrating these powerful techniques with her first love of primary care.

Dr. Simpson is board certified in both internal medicine and integrative/ holistic medicine. She has completed additional training in functional medicine, as well as HeartMath biofeedback.

Dr. Simpson has a limited primary care practice, and is available for consultation with a primary care provider’s order.

  • Integrative Medicine

    Integrative medicine combines evidence-based therapies from multiple disciplines to facilitate a person’s innate ability to heal. The physician and patient work together using conventional Western medicine as well as Eastern medicine practices and movement, mind-body and natural therapies to promote health of the mind, body and spirit.

  • Internal Medicine
    Internal medicine providers focus on adult medicine and have had special training to diagnose and treat adult diseases. They may be physicians, nurse practitioners or physician assistants. They serve as a primary care provider for their patients.
