Personal Biography:

Robert Babbel, MD, joined Corvallis Radiology in 1993. He spent several years as a staff physician in the Air Force, taking him to Guam for two years. From 1985 through 1991, he completed his Radiology Residency and Neuro-radiology Fellowship. He spent another two years in the Air Force as a Neuro-radiologist at Keesler Air Force Hospital in Mississippi. Dr. Babbel and his wife, Michelle, have four children. They enjoy various water sports, including scuba diving and wake boarding.

Radiologic technologists typically operate the image capturing equipment and radiologists interpret the results and use them to make diagnosis.
