Robert Long, PT

Personal Biography:

A native Oregonian, Bob was born and raised in Roseburg. He and his wife, Sherry, moved to the Oregon Coast after he graduated from physical therapy school in 1991. Bob worked in private practice in Lincoln City before joining the Samaritan North Lincoln Hospital Rehab team in 2008. He transitioned to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital, where he now leads that hospital's rehab team, in 2014.

He and Sherry have seven children, which keep him busy with various sports and school activities. He also has four very young grandchildren which are the highlight of his life. When not enjoying family time, Bob likes to run, hike and do woodworking.

Bob is a physical therapist with more than 20 years of experience. His primary focus is orthopedics and manual therapy, with a special interest in Visceral Mobilization and treating patients with chronic pain.

Bachelor's degree: Rockhurst University
Master's degree: Oregon State University
