Dr. Safford utilizes an integrative approach to therapy, emphasizing cognitive behavioral and interpersonal processing techniques. He works primarily with adults and older adults coping with depression, anxiety, grief/loss, chronic pain or health conditions, life transitions, caring for ailing family members, cognitive impairment and dementia.
