After completing part of her training at Samaritan Central Coast Internal Medicine, Stacey enjoyed the practice and patients so much that she returned as a practicing physician assistant after graduation from Oregon Health & Science University in 2006, and has been here ever since.
She views her relationship with her patients as a partnership, helping them to achieve their best possible health. She believes that listening to her patients' concerns, helping them understand what's happening to their bodies and educating them about their medical choices is the most important work she does each day. She strongly encourages them to take responsibility for their own health and tried to help them find solutions that fit their values and lives.
A former backcountry and whitewater guide, she enjoys kayaking, hiking and mushroom hunting on the Oregon Coast with her husband and daughter. She has a special interest in sustainable food, gardening and cooking.
