Personal Biography:
Dr. Steven Andescavage earned his doctor of osteopathic medicine and a master’s degree in public health at Nova Southeastern University College of Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
Dr. Andescavage joins the hospital from George Washington University where he was a fellow in international emergency medicine, a clinical instructor in emergency medicine and an adjunct instructor in the Department of Global Health at the School of Public Health and Health Services. He completed a residency in emergency medicine at the University of Florida College of Medicine in Jacksonville.
Dr. Andescavage has extensive international experience in India, Iran, Egypt and El Salvador in emergency medicine and international disaster medicine.
