William Frank, MD

Personal Biography:

Dr. Frank is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in arthroscopic surgery, knee and hip replacement surgery. He also provides a wide range or general orthopedic services. He utilizes an anterolateral approach in surgery, a minimally invasive technique that spares muscle tissue and enables quicker recovery and rehabilitation after complex surgery. 

Dr. Frank enjoys his interactions with patients and positively affecting their lives, especially young people, athletes and people needing joint replacement surgery. He enjoys being part of a community and getting to know people.

Dr. Frank earned a bachelor’s degree from the United States Air Force Academy, a medical degree from Ohio State College of Medicine, an internship at Keesler Air Force Base Medical Center, and a residency at Ohio State University Hospitals. He has worked in the orthopedics field since 1982, most recently at Washakie Orthopedic Clinic in Worland, Wyoming.

In his free time, he enjoys instructing and lecturing on flight safety and flying twin-engine airplanes. Dr. Frank will be working in the same office as his wife, Family Nurse Practitioner Debra Frank. He is excited to make Lincoln City his home and to be scuba diving and surfing again.
