Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center
Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center, the largest hospital in Linn, Benton and Lincoln counties, offers more than 22 medical specialties including comprehensive cancer care, a full-service cardiology and cardiac and vascular surgery program, a sleep lab, neurosurgery and other regional services. More than 1,500 employees and 275 volunteers keep the medical center running. It is licensed to operate 188 beds and is one of only three ‘Level 2’ trauma centers in the state.
Good Samaritan is located in Corvallis, a diverse and thriving college town that is home to more than 50,000 residents. It is located in the heart of the Willamette Valley and is just a short drive to the beautiful Oregon coast. The city is a unique mix of larger businesses such as Hewlett-Packard and smaller local business that play an important role in the city’s culture and vitality. Corvallis is also the home of the “Beavers” and Oregon State University, one of the top academic colleges in the state. The city provides many different opportunities for recreational hobbies as well as theatre, symphony and other nightlife venues.
