Cancer Poetry Booklet

Flying on one wing is a collection of short poems written by breast cancer survivor Marjorie Power of Yachats.  The poems are reflections of her emotional journey through diagnosis, treatment and life after cancer.  The booklet also contains photographs of Her spirit remains intact, an artistic torso by Corvallis artist Ella Rhoades.  The torso represents healing, wellness, triumph and the birthing of new endeavors. The booklets are available for download below, or receive a free copy by calling Samaritan Regional Cancer Center at 541-768-5220 and select option 1.

 

Cancer Resource Guide

The Cancer Resource Guide is helpful to cancer patients and their families who live in Benton, Linn and Lincoln counties. In addition to cancer-related medical services, the guide lists support resources such as educational and support groups, legal resources, social workers, hospital chaplains and more. Hard copies are available by calling 541-768-5220 and select option 1.

 

Annual Cancer Report

The Annual Cancer Report is directed to physicians and other health care providers. Technical in nature, the report includes data about the prevalence of cancer within Benton, Linn and Lincoln counties, as well as the diagnosis and treatment of selected cancers. Hard copies are available by calling 541-768-5836.
